Mom of two makes a dream dollhouse

“Well, how do they all manage? – Alena melancholy scrolling through the Instagram feed. – It seems as if their children sleep around the clock. Or a whole orchestra of servants. “

Alena is a young mother. Now she knows firsthand what a lack of sleep is, a pile of dirty dishes in the sink, forgotten on the table in the morning and tea that has cooled down in the evening, and then there’s a disgruntled husband to whom you’ll serve dinner … everyone has time, they look great, the house sparkles, the children seem to have just been washed, ironed, combed. How do they manage to do this?

No, we have no answer. We have a mother of two, whose name is Kayomi. Kayomi lives in Japan, she is an artist and a mother of two. An artist is not just the name of a profession. This is her way of life. There is no other way to explain what she devotes all her free time to. Which, by the way, is quite a bit: to carve out an hour or two for his adored hobby, Kayomi gets up at four in the morning. Four. Hours. Morning. It’s unthinkable. And there is no other time – children, family, work, a parrot, in the end …

So, in his spare time, if you can call these pre-dawn hours, Kayomi creates a dream dollhouse. Everything is there: real furniture, a kitchen with croissants and macarons on the table, a sewing machine and books, in one of the rooms there are the owners’ unlaced boots. The tiny chairs have tiny wheels, the lights come on, and the cakes look completely edible. The amount of detail is simply amazing. Even more striking is that all of this is the size of a maximum of a little finger. More often – less. Is this a hobby worth getting up early? Maybe. Moreover, now this hobby has grown from meditation into a small business. However, see for yourself.
