More and more countries are striving to preserve and improve the environmental situation: reducing carbon emissions into the atmosphere, recycling, renewable energy sources, environmentally friendly products, driving hybrid cars. Countries are ranked annually (EPI), a method that evaluates the effectiveness of the environmental policies of more than 163 countries in combating climate change and promoting environmental conservation.
So, the seven most environmentally friendly countries in the world include:
7) France
The country is doing an excellent job of preserving the environment through renewable energy sources. France is particularly impressive for its use of sustainable fuels, organic farming and solar energy. For the most part, the country uses energy obtained from renewable sources to ensure its functioning. Not so long ago, the government of Costa Rica set the goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2021. Massive reforestation is taking place with over 5 million trees planted in the last 3-5 years. Deforestation is a thing of the past, and the government is tightening measures on this issue.
2) Switzerland
