What is vegetable oil

Adherents of proper nutrition all the time repeat about the undoubted benefits of vegetable oil in our diet. It contains useful omega-acids and is not able to lead to slagging of the body and weight gain. There are many vegetable oils, and each has its own unique effect.

Sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is an excellent source of lecithin, a substance that has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, brain function and clarity. Lecithin is indicated for those who are under stress or depression, and also need to restore physical strength. Sunflower oil is used for frying, as well as for dressing any food.

Olive oil

Liquid gold – this is how the ancient Greeks called it, since it surpassed many products in composition and usefulness. Olive oil is a source of oleic acid, which helps fight inflammatory processes in the body, gives youth and health, and also significantly improves the digestive processes in the body.

Linseed oil

Flaxseed oil contains much more omega-3 fatty acids than fish oil. In addition, this oil is the lowest in calories and is applicable in dietary nutrition for weight loss. Flaxseeds contain antioxidants that can neutralize most of the nitrates that are used in vegetables and fruits, and also help remove toxins from the liver.

Pumpkin Oil

Pumpkin seed oil is considered an excellent source of zinc – it contains more of this trace element than seafood. Also, pumpkin seed oil is the leader in selenium content. This oil is excellent for salad dressing, it has an extraordinary flavor and aroma. But for frying pumpkin seed oil is not at all suitable – the food will burn on it.

Corn oil

This oil is preferred more often than others for lowering cholesterol levels and adjusting metabolic processes in the body. Corn oil also helps break down solid fats. In cooking, corn oil is great for frying, especially deep-fried, as it does not burn, foam and does not have an unpleasant odor.

Sesame oil

This oil contains a lot of calcium. Due to its specific aroma and bitter aftertaste, it is impossible to use it to the maximum. When cooking on a fire, the oil burns a lot, but it plays great in dressings or sauces!

Peanut butter

At high temperatures, oils of any nuts lose their value and usefulness, so it is better to use them cold – as marinades, sauces or ingredients for pates. Also, nut oils are most often used in cosmetology – they soften and moisturize the skin.

Thistle oil

Milk thistle oil is not very popular on our table, but it is often used in diet food. It is widely used in the treatment of liver diseases, helps block the absorption of toxins entering the body from the outside – along with food, drinks, medicines.
