In the coming season, pink will become an absolute must-have both in clothes (stylists have already called it the new black) and in makeup.

– The combination of pink clothes, manicure and make-up should be fine-tuned and very harmonious. In order not to become like Barbie, choose complex shades of pink – powdery, pastel, “dusty” tones, there may be one bright accent in the image, and the rest should fade into the background, – says L’Oréal Paris makeup artist Nika Kislyak.

Lips, highlighted in a rich pink color, with an almost neutral face are very relevant in the new season. Glowing skin and wide, well-defined eyebrows will be the best addition to this look.

When choosing a lipstick shade, I advise you to consider the following: the colder the pink, the yellower the teeth appear. Try different options, smile at yourself and choose your pink that will best match your shade of teeth, skin, hair, whites and iris. To do this, apply different shades to the fingertips (they are most similar to lips in texture), apply them alternately to your face and look in the mirror, and you will quickly see which ones suit you more and which ones are smaller.

If you chose a pastel pink shade of lipstick, then gentle menthol, salad, apricot shades are suitable for the eyes, this range reminds of the 60s, which are still relevant, so do not neglect eyeliner or lush voluminous eyelashes.

In natural pink makeup, shadows in bronze-golden tones, sand, chocolate, beige, and also gray shades will look advantageous.

If we talk about the textures of pink, then at the shows, where the trends in makeup come from, you could see both matte textures of pink on the lips (the “supermat” effect, when the lipstick is also covered with dry bright pigment on top), and glossy, when the lips resemble water surface. A small amount of noble shine is allowed in both blush and lipstick, because due to the luminous particles, the skin looks filled with light from the inside, and the lips are more voluminous and attractive.

The new type of makeup is a continuation of the fashion for natural looks. True, unlike strobing, which became the coolest trend of the last season, Chromium plating is the application of transparent pearlescent lipstick to the skin.

This technique was invented by Dominic Skinner, the leading makeup artist for MAC in the UK. He called girls around the world to the new technique “Chroming is the new strobing!”

Surely in your beauty arsenal there is a pale gold, pearlescent or translucent white lipstick-balm, with which you could not think of what to do with. It is most convenient to apply and shade the product with your fingers, and not with a brush, so that there are no clear boundaries. The rest of the technique is the same as that of our favorite strobing: we apply a tonal base and highlight the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the line under the eyebrows and above the lip.

Blue is one of the trends not only in clothes and accessories, but also in makeup. Different shades were presented to our attention at the past Fashion Weeks. The emphasis was on eyeshadow, eyeliner, pencils and mascara.

– Some makeup artists find that blue makeup does not work well with green eyes. However, if you carefully work out the outer corner of the eye or the eyelash contour with a black pencil or eyeliner, then green eyes with blue shadows will look quite expressive – says Kirill Shabalin, the leading makeup artist of YSL Beute in Russia.

For blue-eyed girls, the main thing is that the shadows do not merge with the color of the eyes. It is better to choose makeup not for eye color, but lighter or darker contrasting shades. For example, you can shade a dark blue color to the outer corner of the eye or make an eyeliner in a deep blue shade that will make the eye more expressive, or simply add blue kajal to the mucous membrane of the lower eyelid and paint over the lashes with black mascara.

For owners of brown eyes, makeup in blue tones is best used in combination with more refreshing shadows that are used as a base (peach, pink).

When choosing a blue color in your makeup, take care of a fairly even complexion. If you have imperfections on the skin in the form of bruises under the eyes or redness on the face, work on them with a corrector or concealer and foundation. When choosing a concealer, remember that it is better to choose a contrasting color, that is, pinkish or peach, as sandy bruises will accentuate even more.

In the new fashion season, the use of precious shades of gold and silver in makeup is again becoming relevant. However, it is worth considering an important feature: this is a fragmentary application.

– You can see an inspiring example of such makeup on models at the Marissa Webb show at New York Fashion Week – silver touches on the upper eyelid over the black eyeliner and at the inner corner of the lower eyelid, – says Yuri Stolyarov, official makeup artist of Maybelline New York in Russia.

Or fragments of silver glitter on the face in the most unexpected places – the walls of the nose, cheekbones, eyelids and temples (as in the Opening Ceremony show).

Fragmented application of gold is also relevant on the eyelids, cheekbones and even eyebrows!

– The 90s disco trends with different colored sequins are as relevant as ever. At many shows of the spring-summer 2016 season, we observed this trend, the most iconic was the Manish Arora show – the models wore multi-colored sequins both on their lips and in front of their eyes, – says leading makeup artist M.A.S. in Russia and the CIS Anton Zimin.

For ordinary life, it is better to focus on one accent, for example, in the eyes. Just add solid glitters to your favorite smoky eye option across the entire movable lid and complement it with neutral lip and cheek tones. Or mix different colored glitter and apply to the base for a good adhesion. Accentuate your lashes with mascara and your lips with a sheer shine like in the Giambattista Valli show. A bold accent will add playfulness and brightness to your look.

Lip sequins are a very beautiful but short-lived option. If you don’t have a dedicated professional foundation to keep them on your lips, replace them with pearlescent lipstick or a 3D shine lipgloss! Play and experiment, but remember to keep in moderation.

– Sequins have been seen in many fashion shows this season. Eyes, lips and even cheeks. Finally, you can wear glitter in everyday makeup and not be afraid to be misunderstood, – adds Nika Leshenko, national makeup artist for Urban Decay in Russia.

For daytime makeup, you can bring your eyes up with your favorite pencil, and apply a liquid eyeliner with glitter on top. It will refresh your makeup, give it a flair, and your eyes will shine. If you want something unusual, apply some glitter to your brow brush and comb through your brows with it. And if you really want to stand out from the crowd, then apply glitter to your favorite lipstick.

– The pastel color palette is very rich – these are pale pink, creamy beige, blue, green, lavender and gray shades. Unusual interpretations of pastel colors are replacing the classic nude colors in the new season, – says L’Oréal Paris manicure expert Olga Ankaeva.

Transparent and translucent pastel colors are suitable for those who do not want to put a bright accent on their nails, but only want to give them a light shade. This manicure looks very gentle and elegant. It is best to use a solid color to create a hazy effect on your nails.

Dense textures are the perfect solution for a bright manicure, which will become a fashion accessory in addition to the image. It can be either a single color coating or a design. A moon or colored jacket will look stylish and unusual in pastel colors.

Creamy textures look very delicate and elegant on nails, such shades can be combined with each other in a manicure and not be afraid to overdo it. Try a gradient from lavender to mint, for example, and you’ll be amazed at how harmoniously pastel colors work together.

Here, they say, it was not without everyone’s favorite trendsetter – Kate Middleton. This season, many designers brought models with lush bangs to the catwalk. True, this time you should not experiment with unusual shapes and lengths, the stylists decided everything for you – an even bang to the eyebrows, which, if desired, can be parted in the middle.

The best addition to bangs is straight, loose hair. Also, for a party or going to the theater, you can collect strands in a “malvinka”.

Perfectly straight hair, crisp parting and smooth ponytails. When creating looks for shows, stylists are increasingly returning to sleek hairstyles.

– Beautiful, well-groomed and shiny hair today is a trend along with the naturalness and negligence that is already loved by all, – says Katya Pik, stylist and art director of the FEN Dry Bar school.

A particularly common trend is weaving from a sleek high or low ponytail. The braids are taut, smoothing even fine hairs with styling products for maximum shine. And everyone’s favorite braids are now more often replaced with plaits. A word of advice: pre-treat the hair with foam or cream for smoothness, shape the tail, divide the hair of the tail into two parts, twist each part into a bundle in one direction, and then twist them together in the opposite direction crosswise (twist to the right, crosswise between each other, and the upper strand to the left and vice versa). We fix the resulting tourniquet from the tail with a small transparent silicone rubber band.
