For cleanliness and health: natural home cleaning products

OVEN

The oven is a real helper for every housewife. In it, you can bake vegetables, and cook pies, and sweet cookies. But when it comes to cleaning, the oven is one of those items that is not easy to clean. It is not recommended to use chemicals to clean it, as over time they accumulate on the walls of the oven and begin to evaporate when heated. Which leads to unpleasant odors during cooking and a danger to our health – because through food these substances will enter our body. Luckily, we have a simple and eco-friendly solution that can easily deal with the dirt in the oven.

Cleaning: Pour the juice of 3 lemons into a heat-resistant mold and leave in the oven for 30 minutes at 180C. Then remove dirt with a cloth soaked in warm water with a little baking soda. Lemon simultaneously degreases the walls of the oven and eliminates unpleasant odors.

FLOORS

Over the years, chemicals found in cleaning products can accumulate on floor and tile surfaces, forming a matte residue that will make the floor dirty more quickly and look stale. Therefore, it is important to wash the floor with natural products at least once a week.

Cleaning: Add to 4 liters of water 2 cups of apple cider vinegar, a glass of alcohol and 10 drops of any essential oil: lavender, rose, orange, green tea or other. Such a solution can not be washed off with water. Vinegar will degrease the surface, alcohol disinfects, and essential oil will give a pleasant aroma and at the same time deal with germs.

FRIDGE

Just like in other cases, the use of chemicals for cleaning the refrigerator is undesirable in order to avoid contact with food. And we, of course, have our own, alternative, recipe.

Cleaning: In one bowl, mix 4 parts cold water to 6 parts white vinegar. In another bowl, pour ordinary warm water (it is very important to maintain the temperature of the water). Wipe the walls and shelves of the refrigerator with the mixture from the first bowl, and then with a soft cloth dipped in warm water, rinse off the vinegar. At the end, dry the refrigerator with napkins.

SHOWER

The shower room contains many dangers (such as fungus, limescale and mold) due to constant moisture. In addition, as a rule, our washcloths and towels are in the shower, which are in direct contact with the skin of the body. That is why it is so important to monitor the cleanliness of the bathroom and prevent the appearance of unwanted guests in a timely manner.

Cleaning: White vinegar is your best ally in the fight against limescale. Simply wipe problem areas with a soft cloth dipped in vinegar, then rinse with water. In order to get rid of mold and fungus, you need a stronger remedy, such as soda. It perfectly whitens and disinfects damaged areas. Make a thick slurry out of it, put it on the affected area and leave it for at least an hour, and preferably all night. By the way, in the same way you can clean the joints between the tiles. After a while, take an old toothbrush and gently rub it on the desired areas. Rinse off the paste with water and dry well with paper towels.

RESTROOM

And here natural cleaning products have their advantages. Unfortunately, many popular chemical agents not only do not cope with bacteria, but, on the contrary, create a favorable environment for their reproduction. Fortunately, our tools will quickly solve this problem.

Cleaning: To clean the toilet, we need sodium percarbonate. Dissolve 2 teaspoons of the powder in a liter of water and spray the product all over the toilet bowl and rim. Wipe the bezel with a dry cloth. Such a tool will not only deal with all bacteria, but also whiten the walls of the toilet.

WINDOWS

For many, cleaning mirrors and windows becomes a real problem – constant streaks, stains, and popular cleaning products often do not help at all. Our method will not cause you any trouble and will help you deal with dirt and stains as quickly as possible.

Cleaning: This is the simplest of all known means. Dissolve a small amount of vinegar in water and spray the solution over the surface of the window. Then take plain newsprint and wipe the glass dry.

Well, our cleaning has come to an end. It’s time to hide all the tools at hand back on the shelves of kitchen cabinets, make yourself hot tea and enjoy the results of the work done.

Be healthy!
