How to make a beautiful snowflake out of paper: instructions in pictures and a template for cutting

Fun fun to which you can (and should) attract children.

An elegant Christmas tree is a must for every New Year and Christmas. But I want every room and even a corridor with a kitchen to radiate happiness and joy of the upcoming vacation. Parents will enjoy even more activities that will captivate children for several hours in a row. And you can combine both by engaging with your child in cutting homemade snowflakes from paper – exactly the same ones that we glued to the windows in childhood, so that the holiday was literally at every step.

We have already told you how to make a garland, a postcard or even a Christmas tree toy with your own hands. To inspire new New Year’s creativity, we offer a small master class on how to cut snowflakes with your own hands. And step-by-step instructions will be presented by cute cartoon characters – kittens Korzhik, Caramel and Compote from the animated series “Three Cats”.

Compote advises to fold a square sheet of paper twice in half and once diagonally. Now try repeating the kittens’ favorite patterns! By the way, according to the arrow in the photo – a template for how to fold the paper correctly to cut out a snowflake.

Cookie Monster says that for young children it is better to use safe scissors and simpler patterns. Older guys can cope with complex ornaments.

Kittens believe that snowflakes do not have to be only white. Use any color: blue, cyan and even red and green. The brighter the more fun!
