Method of preparation
Grind butter with sugar and salt. Gradually adding yolks and flour, quickly knead the dough and put in the cold. After 15 minutes, roll it out and place on a greased and floured baking sheet. Top with “scales” a layer of thinly sliced apples, peeled. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Pinch the edges of the pie with a string and place in a well-heated oven. When the cake is browned and the apples are soft, remove from the oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
